FACEBOOK'S ZUCKERBERG SOLD-OUT COMIC BOOK GET'S NEW LIFE IN GRAPHIC NOVEL FORM - IN STORES TODAY!
Bluewater Productions has made a new version of "Mark Zuckerberg: Creator of Facebook" comic book. The original biography comic book sold out the day of its release.
Looking ahead, the Vancouver, WA-based comic book publisher has added a new cover, expanded story content, pin-ups, and other illustrated extras as part of a 48-page graphic novel in stores today. This will be a book version with a spine rather than the traditional comic book format.
"There was a lot of buzz regarding this particular title outside the traditional comic book buying demographic," said Darren G. Davis, president of Bluewater. "Facebook fans and Zuckerberg detractors have sought this title out, so I am hoping we earned a 'Like.'"
"Mark Zuckerberg: Creator of Facebook" traces the meteoric rise of the sometimes controversial Internet visionary. According to Bluewater, the story, written by freelance journalist Jerome Maida and illustrated by Sal Field, offers a more balanced portrait of Facebook's founder than the recent Oscar-nominated movie "The Social Network."
The graphic novel sports a new cover drawn by notable comic book artist Joe Phillips. It retails for $10.99 and is available in print through traditional retail outlets such as Barnes & Noble and Amazon. E-Book versions are now on several online venues including Kindle, iTunes & Nook.
Also currently available to readers everywhere are in-depth biographies on two other tech giants--Steve Jobs and Bill Gates. The lives of the competing CEOs are outlined in "Steve Jobs: Co-Founder of Apple" and "Bill Gates: The Co-Founder of Microsoft." Both titles are available for purchase digitally online or at bookstores and comic book shops.
Looking ahead, Bluewater plans to release "Sergey Brin and Larry Page: The Creators of Google." Copies of the graphic novel may be preordered here.
The comic books have gotten international press coverage from &quo; The Today Show," "Time," "People Magazine" and more.
