THE UNITED STATES ARMY SOLDIERS BECOME THE TRUE COMIC BOOK HEROES

The comic book movie the "Avengers" topped the box office this weekend, but the real heroes are being showcased in their own comic book, "American Defenders: THE U.S. ARMY" which is now available today in stores nationwide.

From the cold of Valley Forge in the American Revolution, to the burning temperatures of the deserts of the Middle East, the Army of the United States of America has defended freedom, pushed back tyranny and helped make the world a safer place. Now, Bluewater Comics is shining their bio-comic spotlight on these brave men and women!

Written by Don Smith and drawn by Jeff Wester, the special edition comic book is also on the NOOK, Kindle & IPad. The "American Defenders" comic book series will also venture into the other branches of the U.S. Military later this fall.

The "Political Power" series was launched earlier in 2009 as a companion piece to the successful Female Force" biography titles.
