DEMI LOVATO’S STORY CHRONICLED IN NEW GRAPHIC NOVEL
Demi Lovato fans will be excited to learn that their favorite singer is starring in her very own graphic novel. Bluewater Productions presents "Fame: Demi Lovato," the latest in its popular "Fame" series. "Fame" comic books focus on the lives of today's most popular celebrities.
Lovato began her career on the Disney Channel, starring alongside fellow pop sensations the Jonas Brothers, before rocketing to music stardom with two Billboard chart-topping albums. The inspiring young singer is set to host the second season of The X Factor this fall. Chronicling her early years, through her rising career, to the present, "Fame: Demi Lovato" is a must have for Lovato fans everywhere.
"It was fun sinking my teeth into Bluewater Production's comic biography on Demi Lovato," said author Michael Troy. "I knew she was talented, but was surprised to find out what an inspiring, resilient young woman she is. I can see why her fans like her and hope they take something from her story."
"This is my first Bluewater title out of many that I am working on," said Nathan Girten. "I normally work on superhero books, so this was an odd change at first, but I really like the end result. I learned quite a bit about Demi and I hope the readers will too."
Bluewater’s "Fame" series has consistently ranked at the top of Amazon’s charts and appeared in the media in everything from People Magazine to the New York Times.
"We've found a niche with our bio comics," said Darren Davis, President of Bluewater. "Our success with this comic shows that there is a much wider audience for sequential storytelling than many thought. These readers are simply looking for something other than superheroes or horror. With our bio comics, we strive to bring these."
"Bluewater is constantly reaching out to libraries and school systems because we thinking reading is incredibly important," said Davis. "I learned how to read by reading comic books and for us to make a comic to share the life of person like Lovato is what we are about."
