"FEMALE FORCE: STEPHENIE MEYER" (TWILIGHT: NEW MOON) GRAPHIC NOVEL CREATORS TO SIGN AT TIGARD BORDERS
Darren G. Davis and Jason Schultz of Bluewater Productions will be signing copies of Female Force: Stephenie Meyer and Female Force: Vol.1 both of which have recently gained national attention. Female Force: Stephenie Meyer examines the popular author's rise to prominence, her development of her "Twilight" saga novels, the launching of the successful movie franchise and her future plans. According to Schultz, "a very recognizable and iconic vampire serves as the story's narrator." This 40-page collector's edition includes the history of Forks; the Washington peninsula town where her stories take place as well as other bonus material. Female Force: Vol. 1, a 96 page paperback containing the first four issues of the popular biography comic book series, includes the unabridged issues featuring Hillary Clinton, Sarah Palin, Michelle Obama, and Caroline Kennedy. "Each of the women featured has a powerful life story to share," said Davis. "And each has made a significant contribution to the American landscape."
Female Force: Vol 1 in stores on October 14th and Female Force: Stephenie Meyer will first be available on November 11th. Those coming to the signing will be getting the first advanced copies. No other outlet in the country will have the Meyer book prior to the release date. "We are thrilled with the reception of these bio comics.
