FAMED NOVELIST S.E. HINTON'S 1st GRAPHIC NOVEL HITS STORES ON DECEMBER 1st

Bluewater's new partnership with best selling author S.E. Hinton will be releasing the 1st graphic novel this week , "The Puppy Sister".

S.E. Hinton, was and still is, one of the most popular and best-known writers of young adult fiction. Hinton is the author of the young adult novels "The Outsiders", "Tex", "Rumble Fish", "That was Then, This is Now" and "Taming of the Star Runner", all which were chosen as Best Books for the Young Adults by the American Library Association. Her novels changed the way people look at young adult literature.

The story is about this touching family is about Nick and his parents get more than they bargained for when their newly adopted puppy, Aleasha, decides she'll have more fun with her new "family" if she becomes human, too. So begins a laugh-out-loud adventure told from Aleasha's point of view, about her transformation from puppy to girl.

"I grew up reading S.E. Hinton's books, so to bring these to a graphic novel format is a dream come true for me", said publisher Darren G. Davis. "The best part is getting to work with Hinton one on one. We have talked about the new title, which is on the lines of her iconic work 'The Outsiders'.

The 2nd of the graphic novels will be out this spring based on the popular book novel "Taming of the Star Runner".
