10 Questions with Bluewater Super Fan Crystal:

WE TRY TO DO DIFFERENT THINGS WITH THIS WEBSITE. INSTEAD OF ALWAYS HAVING THE ARTIST INTERVIEWS HERE, WE WANTED TO EXTEND THE INTERVIEWS TO OTHER PEOPLE THAT ARE PART OF BLUEWATER. JENNY CHRISTOPHER IS BLUEWATER'S BRAND MANAGER AT DIAMOND, SO WE HAD CRYSTAL TAKE ON THE TASK OF INTERVIEWING HER.

QUESTION1:
CRYSTAL: HOW LONG HAVE YOU WORKED FOR DIAMOND AND WHAT DID YOU START OUT DOING AT DIAMOND?
JENNY: I started a year ago this past September, and was brought in as a Purchasing Brand Manager.

QUESTION 2:
CRYSTAL: WHAT IS THE LARGEST GIFT YOU'VE EVER RECEIVED ?
JENNY: My parents gave me a used car when I turned 16. It was a Ford Escort, but it's the biggest gift I've received so far.

QUESTION 3:
CRYSTAL: IN YOU JOB YOU MEET ALL KINDS OF PEOPLE. WHAT IS THE FIRST THING YOU TRY TO ESTABLISH WITH A NEW CLIENT?
JENNY: I try to get a sense of their experience in the comic industry first. It can be very tricky for new publishers to get started, and I try to walk them through what to expect and what will be expected of them (timeliness, consistent editorial, etc)

QUESTION 4:
CRYSTAL: WHAT'S THE SCARIEST EXPERIENCE YOU HAVE EVER HAD?
JENNY: When I was sailing in Belize, I got caught in a squall at 1am and blown into a mangrove cove. We had to reset the anchor during the storm, it was terrifying. The only time I ever threw up on a boat.

CRYSTAL: TELL THE PEOPLE ONE THING ABOUT YOU THAT NO ONE ELSE KNOWS?
JENNY: I can play the saxophone

QUESTION 6:
CRYSTAL: IF YOU COULD GO ANYWHERE IN THE WORLD WHERE WOULD IT BE AND WHY?
JENNY: I would like to go to Barcelona. I have always loved Gaudi's work and would love to see the Sagrada Familia in person.

QUESTION 7:
CRYSTAL: WHAT'S THE MOST MEMORABLE BOOK YOU'VE¢E EVER READ? PLEASE ,NO TWILIGHT.
JENNY: haha, I haven't read any of the Twilight books. Not really my speed. I think that the most memorable book that I've read recently is The Garden of Lost Days by Andre Dubus III. Amazing. Like his previous book, House of Sand and Fog, it is like watching a train wreck slowly unfold before your eyes.

CRYSTAL: WHAT ONE INVENTION HAS CHANGED THE WORLD MORE THAN EVER?
JENNY: For me, the Sonic Care toothbrush. I love it!!
